Bexley Stop Smoking Service Training
Brief Intervention Training:- These half day training progams are facilitated by the core team from Bexley NHS Stop Smoking Service. They give an overview of the Stop Smoking Service and how to signpost to support to quit. Here are some of their comments:

Community Stop Smoking Advisor Advisor of Year and Update Session The Marriott Bexleyheath
Every year we celebrate the work of Bexley's Stop Smoking Advisors by inviting them to an Update Session at The Marriott Bexleyheath. The 2011 Advisor of the Year was Linda Law from Bellegrove Road Surgery in Welling who supported 90 people to stop smoking during 2010/11. Local MP David Evennett was the Guest Speaker at this event and commended all Advisors across the borough. He also praised the work of Bexley Stop Smoking Service Advisors in the House of Commons on 12 July 2011:

Friend join me in congratulating advisers working for Bexley stop smoking service, who helped more than 1,600 people stop smoking last year? Does the Minister agree that helping people stop smoking should remain an important public health priority?
The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health (Anne Milton): I am happy to join my hon. Friend in congratulating those who are making efforts locally. As he will be aware, public health services will move to local authorities, and I am sure those efforts will continue.
