On October 15 2010 Bexley Stop Smoking Service collected not one but two awards at the prestigious No Smoking Day Organiser of the Year Awards at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in London. We received awards for ‘Best Use of a Local MP’ and ‘Best Use of Big Cig’ for our photographs of Big Cig with both David Evennett MP and celebrity Duncan Bannatyne, President of NSD.
No Smoking Day 2011 will take place on Wednesday 9th March when smokers will be asked to consider if it’s Time to Quit? Smoking remains the largest preventable cause of premature death and disease in England.
