Queen Mary's Hospital Quitters

Claire Cornelius
Claire Cornelius attended a Smokefree Evening on 17 May 2011 to collect her Two Year Non Smoking Achievement Award - an engraved paperweight from Bexley Stop Smoking Service.  Claire says: "I was a heavy smoker.  I smoked more than 20 a day for twenty years.  Everything I did was punctuated by a cigarette.  I signed up to Group Quit at Queen Mary's for a few reasons: my kids hated me smoking, I knew it was bad for my health and its a complete waste of money.  Two years on and I never even think about smoking.  I would definitely recommend anyone who's sick of smoking to join the next group.  You get so much support and a lovely pen after a year!
